Lifeguard and Rescue International Training was established in 1994 and pioneered and developed intensive beach lifeguard courses throughout the U.K. and Europe. It currently provides Royal Life Saving Society Beach Lifeguard training for more lifeguards than any other organisation, providing courses for Local Authorities and many of the major leisure holiday and outdoor activity companies.

Courses are run throughout the U.K., France, Spain and Ireland at present. Last year over 500 successfully completed the Beach Lifeguard programme. Courses are also conducted for R.L.S.S. Pool Lifeguard award and H.S.E. First Aid at Work, both separately as stand alone courses and as part of combined courses offering Pool Lifeguard, Beach Lifeguard and H.S.E. First Aid at Work. R.L.S.S. Trainer Assessor Courses are also conducted at venues around the U.K., as are National Trainer Assessor Courses.

Lifeguard and Rescue International Training employs trainers and assessors who are extensively experienced in their fields and all have held positions in professional life guarding, many as head of lifeguard or leisure services.

Many of the courses offer accommodation and meals at very competitive rates as an all-inclusive package and courses run abroad also provide flights from airports throughout the U.K. to suit your requirements.
